Paul Botha

Paul brings over 30 years of experience working across both contractor and consultant roles, significantly shaping the procurement and delivery of major projects to provide greater value, reduce risk, and increase certainty for clients and communities. He recently joined WT Partners as an Associate, where he leads and supports commercial negotiations on large-scale projects, offers advice on procurement models and delivery strategies for infrastructure clients, and delivers independent commercial judgement at pivotal decision points. Paul holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury; his research, combined with his industry expertise, was recognised with the ICE Parkman Research Medal award in 2025.
