Sara Cheetham

Sara is a Partner in our Major Projects and Construction team.

Sara provides practical front-end project support to clients, helping them plan, procure and complete construction, development and infrastructure projects. This includes advising on, drafting and negotiating construction contracts, consultancy agreements, development agreements, and other project-related arrangements (both standard form and bespoke). She also advises on delivery issues during a project’s life cycle.

She has experience in law firms and within businesses – including working in a small general practice, and then specialising in commercial property and construction for a number of years, at three other large NZ law firms. She was also an in-house lawyer for one of New Zealand’s largest property developers for 3+ years.
