Nic Russ

Nic Russ is a Commercial Director in WSP’s Major Transport division, and is currently acting in Delivery and Commercial Roles on two large infrastructure projects. She has been in the major projects, infrastructure and energy sector for over 20 years holding numerous leadership positions from Commercial Partner in a construction, finance and commercial law firm, and then Senior Legal Counsel and Commercial Manager / Director at WSP. She has had various leadership roles; currently leading WSP’s Major Project’s commercial and controls team, and a member of the management team for the Waitemata Harbour Connections Alliance.

Nic as led and been involved in many large major commercial, construction and energy transactions and strategic infrastructure pursuits, and more recently in the delivery of major infrastructure and roading projects across New Zealand. Through her breadth of experience, she brings a very diverse and broad insight into risk and risk management across the project life cycle.
