Roger Brady

Roger Brady is Regional Manager, Infrastructure Development & Delivery for Waikato and Bay of Plenty at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi. He leads the planning and delivery of infrastructure programmes that support safer, more resilient and better-connected communities, bringing together strategic governance, practical delivery experience and strong stakeholder and partner relationships.

Roger brings more than 40 years of civil engineering experience across consulting, contracting and project management, alongside leadership experience in infrastructure delivery, public sector management and commercial operations.

His approach combines strategic leadership, programme and project delivery, governance and financial management with a whole-of-life view of infrastructure, considering delivery costs alongside long-term maintenance and operation. He focuses on helping projects move from planning through to completion, aligning outcomes with organisational priorities and community needs.

A collaborative and approachable leader, Roger is passionate about developing people, building high-performing teams and strengthening capability across the sector. He values mentoring, partnership and teamwork, bringing energy, optimism and a practical focus on results.

An enthusiastic member of the Roading Efficiency Group (REG) whānau, Roger is particularly interested in how the sector responds to climate change and adapts infrastructure for the future while working within tight budgets with constrained resources.
