Neil has over 30 years of experience in road construction and maintenance operations both in New Zealand and overseas. During his career he has held a variety of senior strategic, operational and technical roles in both private and public sectors. In these roles, Neil has enjoyed observing and actively overseeing the development and deployment of new technology and operational maintenance strategies across a diverse range of transportation environments.
Neil is a freelance consultant, providing support and leadership across a wide range of advisory services. Neil pays particular attention to changing market needs and shifts in client or societal expectations, aiding his clients to develop and deploy market focused strategies in response.
An engineering graduate from Leeds University and a Fellow of the Institute of Asphalt Technology, Neil has chaired and contributed to numerous industry and technical working groups both here in New Zealand and overseas.
