Emma Foley, general manager of Uber New Zealand, discusses Uber's vision for shared, electric, and multi-modal transportation, and its partnership with Waymo for autonomous vehicles.Emma also highlights the importance of urban design elements, such as utilising kerb space, and provides advice for council planners regarding EV charging infrastructure.
Jimmy Scott, general manager at Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA), coordinates disaster recovery and resilience efforts. His role involves leading policy initiatives and overseeing projects to make Queensland the most disaster-resilient state in Australia – making him an ideal person to advise on equipping the roading network here to withstand future weather events and
prioritising community recovery and resilience.
