Daniel leads a team of 110 at the Tararua Alliance in Dannevirke. Tararua Alliance is one of the longest running alliances in New Zealand, this year clocking up 10 years’ partnership between Downer and Tararua District Council for the delivery of a long-term roading maintenance contract. Daniel’s team won the Maintenance Contract category at the CCNZ Awards recently on the back of an exceptional track record including an innovative and highly effective response to Cyclone Gabrielle.
Daniel has been with Downer his whole career, starting as a driver operator in Manawatu in 2012 and progressing to supervisor and leadership roles in construction, surfacing, delivery, operations and management. As Alliance Manager, Daniel provides strategic direction for the team and ensures the Alliance delivers on its promise of maintaining the large rural roading network for the Tararua community while ensuring the commercial aspects of the Alliance meet Downer’s requirements.
