With over 25 years at J Swap Contractors Ltd, Ian has overseen and managed various transport aspects of the business. He holds industry representative positions in Transporting New Zealand and serves as the Regional Vice President. Additionally, he has been involved in various business and strategy cases for roading and infrastructure projects.
Ian was instrumental in developing industry leading HPMV networks for J Swap by building relationships with Road Controlling Authorities and fostering mutually beneficial outcomes. These relationships have enabled significantly higher productivity and reduced the environmental footprint of the J Swap transport fleet.
Currently, Ian oversees the Bulk Transport, Logistics, and Storage Operations for J Swap Contractors. His role includes managing all aspects from import to export, local transport, handling, storage in the delivery of bulk feed and energy commodities throughout New Zealand.
